Positive Support Services
We specialize in improving the lives of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. Using science-based treatments that are empirically validated, our highly skilled therapy teams work to improve social, communicative, adaptive skills, and daily functioning while simultaneously reducing and mitigating maladaptive behavior.
Positive Support Services provides behavior consultation to parents or caregivers so that they are given tools and strategies to help their child succeed.
At Positive Support Services . . .
We employ only the most highly qualified and caring instructors to implement each child’s treatment
We use leading assessment tools to develop individualized treatment plans that best meet the unique needs of the child
We are in partnership with families, our team is committed to improving the lives of each child so that they can play, learn, and grow to their full potential
Approach
We incorporate an empathic, playful, practical, and relational approach to treatment for clients and their families. We tailor our approach depending on the unique circumstances of the client in order to increase their socially significant behaviors (e.g., social skills, language, daily living, self-care, and vocational abilities) and provide the family instructional strategies to support their child.
Additionally, we utilize an evidence-based approach where we implement interventions that are appropriate and effective to the child based on the child's learning style. We also incorporate their strengths into activities where they can maximize their learning and reach their full potential.
